The paddle is ready

Some players use edge tape to protect the edge of the paddle from damage.   

It can be applied at this point if used.

Some players may choose to apply both rubber sheets at once to save time in paddle construction.    While possible, it is also easier to make a mistake.   If you choose to do this, cut off some of the excess rubber once the glue has dried to make it easier to see when cutting the rubbers to fit the blade.
